Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Cath Lab Tech required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS required Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - On-call required: 8-10 days per month including at least one weekend per month - Prior travel experience required Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab. Accurate monitoring of patients during procedures is essential. The position requires familiarity with various cardiac procedures including angioplasty and stent placements. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and maintaining sterile fields is essential. The Cath Lab Tech will also be responsible for equipment setup and maintaining inventory. The candidate must possess strong skills in recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and immediate response. Candidates should be proficient in the use of various specialized equipment and devices in cardiac interventions. Daily responsibilities include assisting with catheterizations and patient care in an adult and geriatric population. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required to effectively work with interdisciplinary teams. This position demands flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. The Cath Lab Tech will provide care while adhering to all safety and infection prevention protocols.
