Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days 4x10 Days with Call Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: 1 year License: KS License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) Must-Have: Previous Cath Lab experience for Cardiovascular Experience with EMR/Equipment GE imaging and hemo system Ability to scrub and monitor cases Description: Hiring process includes a profile review and an interview with the unit manager. Candidates must be within a 60-mile radius, and a driver's license must be submitted. During orientation, clinicians must be in the state for the entire week, even if first-day modules are remote. The Cath Lab performs an average of 2-3 cases per day. The call response time is 30 minutes. The tech will float between Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR for Cath Lab cases. There is no floating required, and the dress code is hospital-laundered scrubs. The current team includes 2 techs in addition to this role. Shifts are scheduled from 0800-1600, with call requirements rotating for weeknight, weekend, and holidays. The charting system used will be EPIC. This position does not require a BSN. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
