Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - RN with Cath lab experience Description: Unit has four procedure rooms and six holding rooms. The staff consists of a Day Shift Manager, Supervisor, 15 RNs, and CVTs. The night shift has a call team. Patient ratios are 1:1 for procedures and 3:1 for holding. The unit uses EMR Meditech and MacLab. Most recruited candidates must have interventional cardiac experience. Candidates with IR/Special Procedures experience are preferred. Typical procedures performed include interventional cardiac, structural heart, interventional neuro, and intervention peripheral vascular. The ideal candidate should be energetic, outgoing, and friendly. The unit requires a full call team capability 24/7, aiming to maintain two call teams at all times. Dress code consists of provided scrubs.
