Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
  • Perform cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedures
  • Utilize Cath Lab equipment and supplies effectively
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and MacLab systems

Requirements of the Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
  • CVL Tech certification, ACLS, BLS
  • Previous cath lab experience required; EP experience preferred
  • Certified Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), and/or Radiologic Technologist (RT) preferred
