Job Summary: With limited supervision, provides and coordinates the delivery of healthcare services and departmental efficiency in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties and adjusts staffing roles as needed. Assures appropriate patient care management and coordinates daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure. Job Responsibilities: -Reinforces expectations and assists in holding staff accountable. -Assists with interviews and the onboarding of new staff. -Recommends and participates in corrective and disciplinary actions. -Keeps Director, Cardiovascular Services and Manager updated and informed of any issues. -Proactively manages employee relations for potential problems and seeks advice when necessary. -Maintains a cohesive working relationship and spirit of cooperation with coworkers, other departments, physicians, etc. for a win-win situation. -Sets a positive example for staff through professional knowledge, appearance, personal conduct, and interactions. -Maintains a professional working environment and follows all hospital policies and guideline recommendations. -Maintains professional interaction with all internal and external stakeholders. -Assists Director/manager with staff selection, training, and competency. -Actively participates in training new employees on equipment functionality and procedures. -Plans and executes daily patient flow, which includes patients, staff, and physicians.
