Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30-18:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS or RCES or RT(R) Must-Have: - Scrub for LHC/RHC/PCI/STEMI/Peripherals. - Ability to monitor during procedures. Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. This position supports patients undergoing a variety of procedures including diagnostic left heart cath, PCI, STEMI, stroke, carotid stenting, and peripheral diagnostic and intervention. Equipment used includes GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, Penumbra. The documentation system is MacLab/Meditech. The unit has newer procedure rooms and equipment. There are approximately 5-10 physicians and a dedicated charge nurse for the flow of the day. The facility has a total of 370 beds and delivers high-quality services including cardiovascular care. Staff members enjoy a friendly culture, supportive management, and a fast-paced environment. The location offers many outdoor activities such as golf courses, bike trails, and parks.
