Job Title: Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: South Carolina RN License preferred, pending applications accepted Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred, ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable Must-Have: Experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab preferred Description: Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech position available for a day shift. On-call required with approximately 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage. Experience in Pediatric/Adult Transplant, R/L Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement is required. Additional experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred, specifically pediatric cases. The unit consists of 2 Cath Lab rooms. First-time applicants are welcome to apply. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. All requested time off must be included at the time of application submission. Approval for time off will be based on facility needs. The facility allows one shift to be called off every two weeks. Special procedures will include cardiac catheterizations, congenital heart procedures, and valve replacements. Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season, running from June through November. All candidates must ensure they complete compliance requirements on time as specified.
