Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Evanston, IL 60202

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Evanston, Illinois

Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Call requirements include every third weekend and at least 16 on-call shifts per 6-week period. 30-minute on-call response time required. 91-day assignment with 12 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations during cardiovascular procedures
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic procedural environment
  • Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous quality improvement activities
  • Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs
  • Includes OR/IR coverage responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting
  • Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required upon hire and must maintain throughout assignment
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Ability to prepare and maintain procedure rooms, manage equipment calibration, and handle supplies and inventory
