Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract
We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Promote a safe, positive, and patient-centered environment.
- Float to other units within your competency if needed based on staffing requirements.
- Participate in on-call coverage if required by the department.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ASN required; BSN preferred).
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required depending on the unit.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
Preferred
- Previous RN experience in an acute care hospital.
- Specialty certification related to the assigned unit.
