Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (shift times vary between 07:00-17:00). Weekend coverage required every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule. Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period.

  • Epic electronic medical record system with comprehensive orientation and training provided
  • Free parking and scrubs provided by the facility
  • 13-week travel assignment with the opportunity to extend up to one calendar year

Requirements:

  • Active Alaska RN license required (must be in hand for immediate consideration; pending licenses accepted for screening)
  • BLS certification preferred; ACM-RN certification preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with discharge planning, care coordination, utilization review, and medical necessity determinations
  • Knowledge of InterQual criteria, Milliman guidelines, ICD-10 coding, and CMS regulations preferred
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
  • Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
