Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Burbank, CA 91505

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Burbank, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Typically one full weekend per four weeks, subject to department need. Patient caseload up to 25 patients.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at an acute care facility in the greater Los Angeles area
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic case management environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care coordination and discharge planning
• Business attire or scrubs accepted; professional and supportive work environment
• 40 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
• Up to 7 days of requested time off available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (pending licenses accepted but must be active by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of acute medical care manager experience performing care coordination and discharge planning
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and assessing patients for medical necessity per evidence-based guidelines
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines, DRG, CPT coding, HIPAA regulations, and discharge planning processes
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers considered with screening
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
