Job Title: Cardiovascular Tech Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Agency Staff Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience License: - Radiologic Technologist (R) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCES) or (RCIS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Technologist Program, Radiology Technologist Program, or Bachelor’s in Health Science Description: Assess hemodynamics and cardiac calculations. Operate equipment and document procedures. Manage site preparation and educate patients and families. Maintain sterile technique and save images during procedures. Conduct electrical mapping and manage access sites. Handle instruments and maintain a sterile field during procedures. Evaluate changing conditions throughout procedures. Responsible for device pocket closure and urgent/emergent procedures. Participate in process improvement activities and department-level education. Adhere to unit-based standard work. Prepare case tables with necessary equipment and supplies. Communicate and collaborate with patients and health care team members. Monitor patients undergoing invasive and interventional procedures. Capture and record hemodynamic and physiologic waveforms. Perform calculations related to the procedure. Utilize various technologies and supports in cardiac and electrophysiological procedures. Actively participate in safety initiatives and complete safety-related competencies. Perform other duties as assigned.
