Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Registered Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS RDCS, AE) Certifications: BLS required; ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCIS required Must-Have: Candidate must have experience with GE and/or Philips equipment. Experience in 3D strain imaging and TEE or Stress Echo required. Travelers should expect to float to different facilities if needed. Candidate must be flexible with scheduling. Description: This position requires a registered echo tech cardiac sonographer. The candidate will perform echocardiograms in an inpatient setting. Experience with Definity and bubble studies is required. Travelers will have rotating weekends, approximately once every four weeks. Preferred experience includes Impella checks and LVAD ramp. The candidate should be prepared to pass an EKG exam during compliance. Candidates are expected to maintain a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Compliance paperwork must be completed by the specified deadline. All candidates must have Epic experience. No open cases will be accepted for background checks. Candidates must ensure they have the necessary education verification prior to submission. Local candidates within a specific radius will not be accepted. This role requires floating to any campus as needed. Candidates must complete modules during orientation, which are not billable.
