Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 (8am-5pm, Mon-Fri) Experience: Minimum 1 year as an Echo tech License: BLS Certifications: ARDMS (RDCS) Must-Have: Experience with TTE, Nuc Med ECHO, TEE, Pharmacologic Stress Testing, Bubble Studies Description: Manager needs a candidate that can start as soon as possible. The position involves performing outpatient and inpatient testing. The average patient census is 8-9 per day. First-time travelers are accepted. Support within the department includes RN, CMA, EKG technician, APP, and MD. The technology and equipment used includes EMR: EPIC, PACS, and department-specific equipment. There is no weekend rotation or on-call requirements. The clinic is closed on major holidays. Request for time off must be made to the manager. The department culture is friendly, relaxed, and emphasizes good teamwork. Scrub color is purple. Free parking is available.
