Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, including Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, and High-Risk PCI.
- Support pacemaker insertions, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart interventions; operate and manage cath lab equipment and imaging systems; adhere to sterile technique and procedural protocols.
- Utilize EMCO, EKOS, and other device/therapy applications as required; monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; manage documentation and data collection for the procedure.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, radiology technologists, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety, radiation safety, and efficient workflow.
- Maintain cath lab inventory, ensure equipment readiness, and participate in post-procedure care and patient recovery documentation.

Requirements
- Certification: BLS is required; AART or RCIS certification is required
- Education: Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited technology program (CVT or Radiology)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of interventional/diagnostic experience within the cath lab; 2–4 years of experience preferred; must have cath lab experience
- Procedures: Demonstrated experience with left heart cath, right heart cath, high-risk PCI, pacemakers, peripheral procedures, and structural heart procedures
- Ability to work in a cath lab environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; able to meet the demands of a travel assignment and 12-hour shift schedule
