Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves assisting physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images of the heart, peripheral vessels, and other structures. The technologist will operate specialized equipment, prepare procedural rooms, and deliver patient care while supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures within a cardiovascular laboratory setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days of the week, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiation Therapy or Radiology through ARRT, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI. Must have scrubbing experience within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Interventional Laboratory. Education requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic sciences or special procedures program, or completion of a course training in cardiac catheterization.
  • Preferred Qualifications: N/A
  • Additional Information: Performs daily room preparations and quality control checks, manages supplies and inventory, and ensures compliance with JCAHO regulations. Collects and verifies data for patient records, procedures, and billing, while documenting complications and variances. Operates and troubleshoots cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment and maintains patient safety protocols. Prioritizes tasks to ensure efficient patient care, reports variances, and ensures data accuracy throughout procedures.
