Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring the ability to function in all three roles — medication nurse, circulator, and scrub — with a GA or Compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Position is in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab unit
- AM shift, 10-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
- Candidate must be proficient in all three Cath Lab roles: medication nurse, circulator, and scrub
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, ventilator management, IV insertion, and PICC line placement
- Scrub experience required
- Must be able to function independently in medication nurse, circulator, and scrub roles
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
- RTO is capped at 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, and 3 days if it does fall on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
- RTO during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if consecutive days are requested around holidays
