Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technician in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting both structural heart and electrophysiology procedures. The position requires a skilled professional capable of floating across all Des Moines area campuses to ensure optimal patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) experience; Iowa active or compact/Multistate license; BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications; drivers license; experience with monitor and precepting as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Structural heart experience; electrophysiology (EP) experience; travel experience; scrubbing experience; circulating monitoring experience.
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA).
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units. Orientation dates include 8/17, 8/24, 8/31, 9/8, and 9/14. The contractor is required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Call schedule involves 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend, from 7:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday. Call back and on-call multipliers apply as specified.
