Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a BMT Oncology unit requiring 1 year of recent specialty experience and ONC certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Med Surg/Tele unit specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology care
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted), with no certifications expiring within 30 days of start
• Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required for all RNs working in Oncology
• NIH Stroke Certification required for BMT ICU RNs
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in BMT Oncology or related specialty required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients undergoing bone marrow transplant treatment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
