Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician Profession: Behavioral Health Specialty: Behavioral Health Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0800-1630) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in addiction treatment License: Current Washington State SUDP license Certifications: Active SUDP license as a counselor by State of Washington preferred Must-Have: Two-year degree or equivalent; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred; trainees with at least 1800 hours of work experience Description: This is a 13-week contract position for a Behavioral Health Technician. This position requires 40 hours of work per week on day shifts. The technician will work from 0800 to 1630 each day. The technician is responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized Substance Use Disorder treatment to all assigned patients. This role includes conducting psycho-educational lectures, as well as individual and group counseling. Documentation of patient progress in the medical record is also required. The technician must work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Reports will be provided to the Clinical Supervisor.
