Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician Profession: Behavioral Health Specialty: Behavioral Health Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Current State SUDP license Certifications: Active SUDP license as a counselor Must-Have: 2 years of experience in addiction treatment; two-year degree or equivalent; bachelor's or master's preferred; trainees with at least 1800 hours of work experience Description: This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule is dayshift, totaling 40 hours a week with 8-hour shifts from 0800 to 1630. The SUDP is responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized Substance Use Disorder treatment to all assigned patients. Responsibilities include conducting psycho-educational lectures, individual and group counseling, and documenting patient progress in the medical record. The candidate must work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and report to the Clinical Supervisor.
