Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Contract

Location: Hazard, KY
Facility: Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 3x12s (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Join a dynamic Behavioral Health team providing compassionate psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient setting. The Behavioral Health RN is responsible for patient assessment, crisis intervention, medication administration, care planning, patient education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements:

• Active KY RN License or Compact RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psych experience
• AHA BLS Certification
• CPI Certification
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to float within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required

Additional Details:

• Travelers must reside 100+ miles from the facility
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract (must be disclosed at submission)
• Orientation held bi-weekly

Seeking experienced psychiatric nurses with strong assessment skills, crisis management experience, and a passion for supporting patients through recovery and stabilization.

13-week travel assignment Day shift: 3x12s (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Every other weekend required Float required within RN scope of practice Meditech EMR experience preferred Travelers must have a KY RN license or Compact RN license before start Minimum 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psychiatric RN experience required AHA BLS and CPI certifications required Schedule is 36/48 hours per two-week pay period Start dates available: 8/24 or 9/14
