D.C. Everest is seeking a Trap Club Coach starting with the 2026-2027 school year. The fall and winter will be for preparing for the spring league, and there will be meetings and other work that will need to be completed prior to the season starting in March each year.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create and implement drills and run practices.
  • Supervise students'' practices and competitions to ensure their safety.
  • Participate in team meetings, events, contests, and practices.
  • Instruct students on the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques.
  • Make sure all students are academically, medically, and behaviorally eligible.
  • Give diligent attention to every student's physical condition before, during, and after every contest.
  • Responsible for the treatment and reporting of injuries sustained by students in practices or competition.
  • Provide direct, visible supervision of students before and after practice.
  • Determine strategies for competitions.
  • Establish a program roster and exchange information as needed for events and competitions.
  • Enforce all rules of eligibility and rules governing contests.
  • Care of all equipment and facilities.
  • Attend all club meetings.
