The Transportation Technician is an advanced technician position that will work indoors and on-site in a control room environment to monitor roadways via closed circuit cameras (CCTV) and to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic. They will be tasked with managing scheduled and unscheduled traffic incidents, and dispatching responders accordingly by utilizing Intelligent Transportation Systems devices.
