Position Summary: Under general supervision, assigns drivers to cover required work; schedule and coordinate efficient and effective transportation for patients requiring services; keeps necessary records; handles complaints on routing and scheduling; assist and provide support to Transportation staff.
Critical Tasks:
Reviews documentation for specific scheduling needs and profile critical timelines to ensure transportation schedules show appropriate details based upon requirements.
Compiles and analyzes a wide variety of ridership, scheduling, operations, and field data to develop and maintain efficient fixed transit routes of regular and complex schedules.
Serves as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to supervisor/management.
Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
Uses experience and resources, in addition to regulation, policy and procedures, to determine consistent courses of action and implementation.
Develop contingency options with the team to accelerate schedules.
Develop work-around solutions as required.
Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and Community Health Services.
Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
