Job Title: Transportation Claims Coordinator

Location: Fayetteville, AR

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Schedule: Day Shift – Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Transportation Claims Coordinator to support transportation and logistics operations by managing shipment-related claims and service issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while working collaboratively with carriers, customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, investigate, and process transportation and shipment-related claims.
  • Manage Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) shipment claims and gather supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding claim status and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of claims, investigations, correspondence, and outcomes.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely processing and closure of claims.
  • Enter, update, and maintain information within transportation, logistics, and business systems.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and performance analysis related to transportation operations.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation to support operational and management needs.
  • Provide professional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Support daily transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate Degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years of office, administrative, customer service, clerical, or related experience required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, freight, supply chain, or distribution operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) claims processing preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, operations support, or call center environments preferred.
  • Experience with reporting tools and transportation management systems preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Exposure to transportation, logistics, and enterprise business systems such as:
    • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
    • SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)
    • Power BI
    • HighRadius
    • Database reporting tools
    • Other logistics and supply chain platforms
