Pay: $26–$32/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (must stay onsite until job is complete)
Status: Temp‑to‑Hire (3–6 months, performance‑based)

Overview
We’re seeking a hands‑on Transport Specialist to support a Machine Moving & Rigging team moving high‑value industrial, lab, and manufacturing equipment. This role is highly physical and customer‑facing, combining machine moving, rigging support, and transportation coordination. The ideal candidate brings heavy equipment transport experience, strong DOT knowledge, and a safety‑first mindset.

Important Role Note
This position begins focused on machine moving and rigging work. While a Class A CDL is required at hire, driving responsibilities will begin after successful temp‑to‑hire conversion, following internal driving and safety training.

What You’ll Do

  • Support machine moving and rigging projects involving high‑value equipment (lab, medical, injection molding, and manufacturing machinery)
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment with precision to minimize risk of damage
  • Operate forklifts, rigging equipment, and transport vehicles (rigging training provided)
  • Perform physical work daily: climbing in/out of trailers, handling heavy cables, securing loads, working on your feet
  • Assist with equipment staging, preparation, and basic installation support onsite
  • Participate in job walks to assess access, load planning, and transport feasibility
  • Support DOT and CDOT compliance, including inspections, permits, logs, and documentation
  • Assist with vehicle and equipment registration, inspection, and maintenance tracking
  • Work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, on‑time project execution
  • Contribute to improving transport processes and reducing logistical errors
  • Help train or mentor new team members as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
  • 3+ years of heavy equipment transport or industrial logistics experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of DOT/CDOT regulations and transport permits
  • Forklift experience or certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Comfortable with manual labor and physically demanding work
  • Strong communication skills and professional customer presence
  • Flexible and accountable—jobs run until work onsite is complete

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to lift 45+ lbs regularly

Additional Requirements

  • Drug‑free workplace; must pass background check and drug screen
  • Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” under ITAR regulations
