LOCATION: Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA
SCHEDULE: Full-time, night shift position (72 hours per 2-week pay period). Week 1 consists of 32 hours: Sunday 7pm-7am, Wednesday 11pm-7am, and Friday 7pm-7am. Week 2 includes Monday 7pm-7am, Thursday 11pm-7am, Friday 11pm-7am, and Saturday 7pm-7am. Every other Saturday and Sunday weekend rotation.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordination of patient incoming and outgoing transfers and transports, outgoing Discharges, intra departmental patient transfers between LGH entities, coordination with clinical departments across Penn Medicine/Lancaster General Health (LGH).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:·HS Diploma or GED·Experience with scheduling, coordination activities, multitasking, familiar with basic medical nomenclature, strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, closed loop communicationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:·Associate's degreeNo call required. Holidays worked only if they fall on a scheduled workday.
