This role ensures accuracy in inventory records and supports Transmission operational needs.Key Roles & Responsibilities* Perform day-to-day storeroom tasks such as receiving, storing, issuing and returning materials, tools and equipment to maintain accurate inventory levels.* Conduct cycle counts, reconciliations, audits, and inspections to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with quality standards.* Safely operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, in compliance with safety guidelines.* Order material through Transmission project management software for operation projects and perform Project Closeout tasks.* Coordinate with Transmission warehouse and/or vendors to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials, tools, and equipment.* Collaborate with Team Lead, district personnel, Supply Chain Management and other departments to meet inventory demands and address discrepancies.* Maintain organized and orderly storeroom conditions, adhering to 5S and lean practices as applicable.Education, Experience & Skills* High school diploma or GED plus minimum 5 years of experience in warehousing and inventory management; or Associates degree in Supply Chain Management or related field plus minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing and inventory management required.* Certification to operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment.* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and inventory management software.* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.* Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards, including OSHA; OSHA10 certification preferred.* Ability to work overtime as required.
