Job Details

Overview
We are a well-established utility construction contractor supporting critical electric infrastructure across the Mid-Atlantic. We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on transmission, distribution, and substation projects. This role is responsible for managing crews, ensuring safe and efficient execution, and delivering high-quality work in coordination with utility clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and supervise multiple field crews on T&D and/or substation construction projects
  • Coordinate daily jobsite activities, manpower, equipment, and materials
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with utility standards
  • Work closely with project managers, utility representatives, and subcontractors
  • Oversee storm restoration and emergency response work when required
  • Conduct site walks, safety meetings, and progress reporting
  • Solve field issues quickly to maintain productivity and project flow

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in utility construction (transmission, distribution, or substation preferred)
  • Prior experience as a foreman, crew leader, or superintendent in electrical or utility work
  • Strong knowledge of field operations, safety standards, and utility construction practices
  • Ability to manage crews in fast-paced, high-demand environments
  • Willingness to travel and support storm restoration work as needed
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
