  • The Global Transmission Calibration Engineer will be responsible for playing an integral part for developing the customer driving experience as well as optimizing fuel economy.<\/span>
    <\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span>Key activities include but not limited to:<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Developing, verifying and releasing transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications,<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Performing hands -on, in -vehicle calibration development work,<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across environmental conditions and other assigned powertrain development activities.<\/span>

      <\/span>In addition, this position will work to coordinate activities of global teams conducting various aspects of vehicle development for global markets. This position will work with in -vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS -INCA calibration tools and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab to meet objectives. This role is responsible for working with a global team to manage transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects.<\/span>

      Requirements<\/h3>
        • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Prior Automotive Experience (University SAE or other experience is acceptable)<\/span>
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Excellent written and Oral communication skills MS -Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)<\/span>
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Product Proficiency, Desire to perform in -vehicle test and development work in addition to analysis "desk" work Willingness to work with global teams Will consider experienced candidates and new college graduates<\/span>
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Onsite – anywhere from 3 -5 days per week.<\/span>
