What You'll Do
Curriculum & Instruction- Lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons and hands-on activities
- Foster curiosity and creativity in the classroom
- Observe, assess, and adapt to each child's developmental needs
Classroom Management- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Manage transitions and daily routines smoothly
- Guide behavior with positive reinforcement and empathy
Family Engagement- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication
- Conduct conferences and keep parents informed on progress
- Encourage family participation in school activities
Health & Safety- Maintain a clean, organized classroom
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure active supervision during indoor and outdoor play
Professional Development- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Collaborate with peers to share best practices
- Stay up-to-date on the latest in early childhood education
What You'll Need- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in ECE preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in active play
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

The Goddard School provides the foundation to encourage a child's lifelong love of learning .In our warm, caring atmosphere, dedicated teachers support the development of children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Our year round program offers families the choice of either half day or full day schedule.
