Transition Success Specialist - Accessibility Services (Part-Time)Position SummaryThe Sinclair Transition Success Specialist provides comprehensive support services for students with intellectual disabilities, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations and are fully integrated into the Sinclair College community. The specialist serves as a liaison among students, secondary transition counselors, instructors, and SCC academic advisors to facilitate a seamless educational experience for participants in the Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary (CTP) program. As a resource for students, parents, faculty, and staff, the specialist shares information about disability-related needs, accommodations, and best practices for supporting student success. The specialist collaborates with faculty and academic advisors to address disability-related concerns and assists students in developing self‑advocacy skills that promote independence and success both within and beyond the academic environment.In the role of CTP Coordinator, the Sinclair Transition Success Specialist provides leadership and direction for the Certified Transition Program, helping to maintain program effectiveness and continuous improvement.
