Compensation:Total compensation starting at $21.00 per hour, which includes a competitive base wage plus an additional Health & Welfare (H&W) benefit provided in accordance with the Service Contract Act. Employees also receive paid federal holidays, paid vacation, and paid sick leave in accordance with the applicable Wage Determination.

Position Summary
Vancro is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support the United States Air Force Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Hill Air Force Base.
This position supports the Transition Assistance Program (TAP), assisting military members as they prepare to transition from active duty into civilian careers. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, providing exceptional customer service, maintainingaccurate records, and supporting daily program operations.
Responsibilities
- Schedule Transition Assistance Program appointments and workshops.
- Coordinate calendars and manage daily scheduling activities.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records.
- Monitor organizational email inboxes and respond to customer inquiries.
- Provide front desk reception and outstanding customer service.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Prepare classrooms and training materials for TAP workshops.
- Track workshop attendance and maintain program documentation.
- Assist customers with required forms and administrative processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personally identifiable information.
- Support additional administrative and mission support functions as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six months of administrative, scheduling, customer service, or data entry experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a favorable federal background investigation and Common Access Card (CAC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a military installation, federal agency, or government contractor.
- Familiarity with military terminology, customs, and courtesies.
- Experience with scheduling, records management, or front desk operations.
- Military spouse, veteran, or prior Department of Defense experience is highly desirable.
