Job Summary:

As the Transfer Pricing Manager, you will report to our Senior Tax Director and work with a collaborative team dedicated to delivering immersive entertainment experiences. You will improve operational transfer pricing, compliance, and reporting for our global business. We offer a hybrid work model with 3 days in office, supporting your growth and well-being as you help us connect millions of players worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for a wide range of transfer pricing compliance requirements.

  • Operational Transfer Pricing Execution:

  • Implement and operationalize transfer pricing policies within financial systems and processes to ensure accurate intercompany pricing and cost allocations.

  • Maintain and enhance headquarter services and global profitability models used to calculate periodic intercompany charges in alignment with transfer pricing policies.

  • Perform periodic monitoring, true-ups, and adjustments to ensure intercompany results align with arm''s length outcomes.

  • Partner with Accounting and Finance teams during month-end and quarter-end close to ensure proper booking of intercompany charges and resolve variances.

  • Support the design and improvement of intercompany billing, recharge mechanisms, and allocation methodologies.

  • Assist in and/or conduct functional analyses interviews of various EA headquarters groups to ascertain benefit to foreign affiliates and determine corresponding intercompany recharges.

  • Assist in and/ or conduct functional analyses interviews relating to EA''s intercompany transactions and preparation of US Treas. Reg. §1.482 and OECD compliant transfer pricing documentation for EA entities globally.

  • Monitor changes in business operations to identify potential transfer pricing risks and assess impacts to existing transfer pricing policies, operational processes, and global tax structure.·

  • Review of benchmarking analyses to support the arm''s length nature of intercompany transactions and ensure alignment with actual financial results.

  • Draft and/or manage intercompany agreements and ensure consistency between legal agreements and operational execution.

  • Prepare and manage transfer pricing aspects of quarterly and annual income tax provision, including coordination with accounting close and financial reporting.

  • Keep abreast of the evolving transfer pricing environment by monitoring regulatory developments and assessing impacts to both policy and operational reconciliations.

  • Assist in global transfer pricing audits, intangible property valuations, APAs, and competent authority matters, including support for data extraction and operational reconciliations.

  • Identify and drive tax technology and process automation initiatives.

  • Support tax process documentation and SOX controls, including designing and maintaining controls around operational transfer pricing processes.

  • Collaborate with the tax team on ad-hoc projects, including strategic international tax planning support. Provide quantitative analysis and build tax models related to tax compliance, provision, and tax planning strategies or other initiatives

  • Work with internal business, tax, finance, legal teams, as well as outside counsel on transfer pricing matters

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, CPA, MST or LLM a plus.

  • More than 5 years or relevant work experience in transfer pricing, with exposure to operational transfer pricing concepts preferred.

  • Strong time management/prioritization, organization, analytical, and written/oral communication skills; ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

  • Sound knowledge of and experience implementing US Treas. Reg. §1.482 and §1.6662, and OECD transfer pricing guidelines.

  • Experience translating transfer pricing policies into operational processes, including implementation of intercompany pricing policies, monitoring entity level financials, and performing and executing transfer pricing adjustments.

  • Advanced data analytics, Excel, and financial modelling skills, including the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of data and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively within the group, as well as across different business units and functions.

  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) preferred; experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or similar tools a plus, but not required.

  • Experience establishing scalable processes and coordinating projects to facilitate timely and accurate deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$114,300 - $156,200 CAD
  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$127,700 - $190,600 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
