    Transaction Advisor – Renewable Energy Tax Credits

    Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000 base salary

    Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | On-Site

    Location: New York, NY


    A high-impact business development role on a fast-growing renewable energy tax credit desk. You will originate new business, build relationships with buyers and developers, and drive transactions from sourcing through close — with exposure to adjacent markets including RECs and RNG.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Originate and manage a pipeline in the transferable tax credit market (ITC, PTC, 45Z, 45X)
    • Build relationships with Fortune 1000 corporates, financial institutions, PE sponsors, and infrastructure funds
    • Source opportunities by engaging renewable energy developers, project finance sponsors, and infrastructure investors
    • Structure and lead deal execution from term sheet through close, coordinating across Legal, Trading, and Operations
    • Deliver market intelligence, pricing guidance, and regulatory insights to clients
    • Develop high-quality client-facing materials including pitch decks, market updates, and transaction summaries
    • Represent the firm at industry conferences and contribute thought leadership

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Tax
    • 2–6 years in a client-facing role — accounting, structured finance, consulting, or capital markets (Big 4 or sell-side preferred)
    • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and motivation to support closed transactions
    • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear client materials and presentations
    • Knowledge of renewable energy markets or tax equity structures is a plus, not required
    • Based in or willing to relocate to New York
