Job Summary

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Utilize preparedcurriculum, guides, aids, manuals,materialsand/or exercisesto deliver instruction or trainingwhich meet theobjective(s)and/ordeliver the desired outcome(s).
Coordinate and deliver training programs with team leaders and supervisors.
Assistwith delivering and/or coordinating IPC J-STD training and/orsupporting the welding department training requirements.
Assistin new hire orientation.
Recommend modifications/updates foron-the-job training checklists and/ortraining content.
In conjunction with the Quality Department, coordinate and/or deliver quality procedures training requirements for all areas of themanufacturing floor and offices asappropriate.
Assistwith development,coordinationand delivery ofLean Manufacturing Principles training.
Measure andcommunicate the impact of training through the keyperformance indicators andoperating metrics.
Track and reporttraining cost and hours.
Maintain training materials; provide input for standardized work instructions.
Assistinmaintainingtrainingrecords.
Supportfacility compliance with ISO 9001 training requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement projectsas well as the development and delivery ofrelevantmaterialneeded to support those projects.
Collect pre and post data related to effectiveness and efficiency of training.
Prepare information formanagement andmanufacturing leadersregardingbarriersor issues related totrainingprogram.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Skills:
2+years’ experienceproviding training (formal and OJT) in a manufacturing or commercialenvironment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IPC J-STD and ISO 9001.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiencyin MS Office.
Experience with LMS (learning management system) administration preferred.
Strongattention to detail,planning, organization skills.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently withmoderatesupervision.
Education:
High schooldiploma or equivalent. Vocational/technical training or a combination of post-secondary training and experience equivalent to 2 years.
