Job Overview

Sigma Inc. is seeking a skilled Training Specialist with strong expertise in curriculum development, eLearning, and instructional design to support the UMass President’s Office Administration & Finance Shared Services.

Note: This is NOT an HR or LMS Administrator role. We are looking for someone who can design and develop engaging training content, including asynchronous learning materials and instructional videos, aligned with Title II accessibility standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs and curriculum for Admin & Finance Shared Services
  • Create asynchronous eLearning content, including instructional videos, tutorials, and job aids
  • Deliver training on financial systems, procurement tools, travel & expense, and budgeting processes
  • Support training for systems such as ERP platforms, procurement tools (BuyWays), and Concur
  • Develop training materials including guides, presentations, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Title II accessibility requirements
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to build specialized training programs
  • Support technology and process rollouts through effective training strategies
  • Track and measure training effectiveness and user adoption
  • Continuously improve training programs through feedback and evaluation loops

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in training, instructional design, curriculum development, or related field
  • Strong experience in curriculum development and eLearning design
  • Hands-on experience creating asynchronous learning content and training videos
  • Knowledge of training development tools and platforms
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of Title II Accessibility Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a shared services or higher education environment
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Jaggaer, Oracle EPM, or ERP systems
  • Experience with Camtasia, Articulate 360, Zoom, and LMS platforms
  • Knowledge of Concur (Travel & Expense systems)
  • Background in change management or process improvement
