The position of Training Specialist is on the technology team in the education department. This role requires the utilization of technology in daily work in various applications. One focus of this position is collaboration with the technical team to communicate issues,risks, escalations, timelines, and delaysto ensure an exceptional customer experience. The other focus of this position is assessing learner needs and capabilities and adapting training methods to meet the needs of the learner to ensure training success. QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelors degreeis required, but a masters degree is preferred. Aminimumof3yearsofeducationexperienceis preferred. Effectiveorganizational,oralandwrittencommunicationskills,problem-solving,program development and computerskills Experience instructing individuals at various skill levels in a classroom environment and communicating effectively with a diverse population Abilitytoworkwithavarietyofdisciplinesandlevelsofstaffacross departments and the healthsystem in a respectful and professional manner Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods MS Office proficiency Proven ability to complete a full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
