Position: Training Specialist I
Location: Providence Rhode Island (remote with some travel)
Duration: 24 months

This is a 24-month contract role (remote, aligned to Providence, RI) supporting Customer Service Operations. The Training Specialist will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering contact center training programs to ensure teams are fully equipped to provide a high-quality customer experience.

In this role, you would:

  • Develop and maintain training materials including ILT modules, SOPs, job aids, eLearning content, and assessments
  • Facilitate instructor-led and on-the-job training sessions for contact center teams
  • Partner with operations and product teams to identify training gaps and improve curriculum effectiveness
  • Track training participation, performance metrics, and recommend continuous improvements
  • Leverage modern LMS tools and best practices to enhance learning delivery and engagement
  • Support emergency/storm response operations when required as part of business continuity needs

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years of training or learning & development experience (contact center or operational training preferred)
  • Strong facilitation and curriculum development skills (ILT + digital learning)
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, technical environment
  • Experience with LMS tools and structured assessment methods
  • Utility or regulated industry experience is a plus, but not required

Pay Range: $30- $32/hr. W2
