EElevate Patient Financial Solutions is hiring an Extended Business Office (EBO) Training Specialist with the ability to cross-train. This full-time, salary, Monday-Friday position is scheduled 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with hours that may vary based on business needs.

Job Summary

The Training Specialist plans, develops, delivers, and continuously improves training programs at ElevatePFS. This role reports to a Training Supervisor and partners with Learning & Development (L&D), multi-department leaders, and staff to support company-wide training initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and deliver training using multiple formats, including in-person and virtual sessions.
  • Effectively apply adult learning principles and instructional best practices.
  • Partner and collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts to assess training needs and learning opportunities.
  • Measure training effectiveness using metrics, reports, and assessments; recommend improvements.
  • Support performance monitoring and quality reviews to identify training opportunities.
  • Promote training sessions to leaders to drive attendance and participation.
  • Provide ongoing in-service and refresher training to support on-the-job development.
  • Maintain departmental knowledge sites and support use of the learning management system (LMS).
  • Maintain accurate training materials and course supplies (manuals, handouts, job aids, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1+ year of experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • 1+ year of experience as an instructor, mentor, or training specialist (or equivalent) in a corporate environment.
  • Subject matter expertise with 3+ years of experience working with hospital insurance payors (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, commercial/private insurance).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including experience with virtual training platforms (e.g., Teams, WebEx).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong knowledge of learning theories and models.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Proficiency with instructional design tools preferred (e.g. Adobe Captivate, Vyond, Clipchamp, Canva)
  • Creativity and comfort working autonomously
  • Ability to travel as needed
