The Training Program Manager owns the end-to-end training programs for the Optimus data collection team. This role leads a team of Training Coordinators while designing, implementing, scaling, and continuously improving training programs that equip data collection teams with the skills and knowledge required to collect high-quality data. The position ensures training initiatives are consistently executed, data-driven, and tightly aligned with engineering, project, and operational objectives.
Lead, develop, and manage a team of Data Collection Training Coordinators to deliver consistent, high-impact training across global data collection operations
Own the training program strategy, roadmap, and execution, including design, development, and delivery of training materials, guides, workshops, and certification programs specific to robotics data collection processes
Manage new-hire onboarding programs and ongoing skill development for data collection staff, with emphasis on robotics hardware, sensors, software tools, data quality standards, and safety protocols
Partner closely with engineers, project managers, and field operations to ensure training content remains current with technical roadmaps, system requirements, and evolving technology
Establish program metrics and KPIs to measure training effectiveness, data quality impact, and operational efficiency; proactively identify inefficiencies or quality gaps in data collection workflows
Maintain centralized, comprehensive training documentation (manuals, SOPs, quick-reference guides) and accurate records of all training sessions, attendance, certifications, and competency tracking
Provide regular coaching, constructive feedback, and targeted resources to both coordinators and frontline data collection teams to drive continuous skill growth and operational excellence
Demonstrated experience in technical program management, training program development, data collection operations, or a related field; prior people leadership or team management experience preferred
Technical knowledge of robotics systems, sensors, data collection methodologies, hardware handling, and associated software/tools
Outstanding communication and presentation skills with proven ability to teach complex technical concepts clearly to diverse groups (field technicians, engineers, new hires)
Experience managing complex programs, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and leading small-to-medium teams in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities and a track record of maintaining accurate records and documentation under tight timelines
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, data-driven decision making, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving process or performance issues
Collaborative, team-first attitude with a passion for advancing autonomous robotics through data quality and training programs

$96,800 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
