Responsibilities:

  • Deliver virtual training for CYME software, covering foundational and advanced functionality.
  • Facilitate hands-on exercises, labs, and real-world scenarios to reinforce learning and practical application.
  • Translate complex electrical engineering and power system concepts into clear, learner-friendly instruction.
  • Develop, maintain, and update training materials, including presentations, lab guides, exercises, and job aids.
  • Assess learner understanding during training sessions and adjust delivery to accommodate varying skill levels.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Support teams to ensure training content aligns with current functionality and best practices.
  • Gather and analyze learner feedback to continuously improve course content, delivery methods, and overall training effectiveness.
  • Maintain training readiness, including lab environments, datasets, and training configurations.
  • Support development of blended learning solutions, including self-paced or eLearning content, as needed.
  • Stay current on CYME product updates, industry standards, and utility best practices to ensure training remains relevant and accurate.
  • Track training activities and outcomes in designated systems or reports, as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required), Engineering degree preferred.
  • Alternatively, Bachelor's degree with a strong background in adult learning, instructional design, training, or workforce education.
  • Previous experience in customer enablement, training delivery, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to teach technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of electric utility distribution/transmission fundamentals (e.g., load flow, short circuit, protection, reliability, grounding, integration studies).
  • Familiarity with adult learning frameworks.
  • Prior customer-facing experience supporting enterprise implementations or software.
