Help If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for planning, developing, providing, controlling, and evaluating the Department of Justice program for continuing legal training and education for both attorneys and support staff in theUnited States Attorney's Offices (USAOs), Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys and the Office of the U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA), and other components of the Department of Justice. Typical work assignments will include:

  • Determining lecture objectives, instructional strategies, and training media/materials.
  • Reviewing existing instructional methods and materials from other sources and determining applicability in meeting current training needs.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in technology in assigned areas to determine applicability of new techniques to OLE programs.
  • Providing subject matter expertise for the integration of new applications and equipment into assigned litigation technology course of instruction.
  • Developing interactive, self-paced learning modules using appropriate applications (e.g., Adobe Captivate and Presenter).
  • Coordinating the scheduling of programs, staff, and participants to ensure effective programming/execution and delivery of training.
  • Advising management and staff in the planning, development, presentation, and evaluation of complex training and education programs.
