As a Training Events Coordinator, you play a vital role in advancing ChildCareGroup's ELITE initiative by ensuring high‑quality, accessible training opportunities for workforce boards and child care providers.
This role goes beyond event coordination - it is about empowering early childhood professionals, strengthening community partnerships, and improving outcomes for children and families through impactful learning experiences.
What You'll Do
Plan and execute in‑person and virtual training events using Cvent, ensuring seamless logistics and a high‑quality participant experience
Collaborate with Workforce Boards and community partners to schedule and promote training opportunities aligned with regional needs
Monitor event registration, track participation, and support outreach efforts to maximize attendance
Provide logistical, technical, and on‑site or virtual support for training sessions, vendors, and participants
Maintain accurate records, verify participant eligibility, and support reporting for program tracking
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in education, training and development, human services, or a related field preferred
At least 2 years of experience coordinating events, trainings, or similar programs
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems (Cvent preferred), with strong attention to detail
