The City of Plano is seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly organized Senior Training Coordinator to help lead our employee and leadership development efforts. This is not just a training administration role-it's an opportunity to influence the growth of an entire organization.

What You'll Do
- Research, design, facilitate, and evaluate training programs that help employees and supervisors succeed.
- Partner with departments across the City to identify learning needs and develop creative solutions.
- Coordinate and support leadership development programs and professional development opportunities for employees throughout the organization.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, vendors, budgets, and contracts simultaneously.
- Create engaging marketing materials, communications, and promotional campaigns that encourage participation in learning opportunities.
- Oversee learning management system activities, training records, reporting, and data accuracy.
- Coordinate training events from start to finish-including logistics, technology, materials, classroom setup, and participant support.
- Analyze program results and continuously improve the learning experience.
Additional Information
Hours for this position are typically Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00 pm; however, hours may vary depending on training start and end times.
An alternative work schedule may be considered with successful completion of probationary period with an understanding that flexibility will be required to support training needs and other needs of the department.
