We are hiring a Training Coordinator with experience in security, corrections, or law enforcement to lead and support employee training programs. This role focuses on training delivery, compliance, and workforce development within a regulated environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Coordinate and schedule employee training sessions, materials, and logistics
Track training progress, certifications, and performance outcomes
Conduct post-training evaluations and improve program effectiveness
Maintain accurate training records, manuals, and compliance documentation
Ensure training programs meet Florida regulations and contract requirements
Provide operational support to shifts and serve as a training resource
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Former/current Law Enforcement or Correctional Officer
Military veteran with honorable discharge
Minimum 2 years of armed security experience
Must successfully complete or have completed:
Florida General Instructor Techniques Course
Juvenile offender training (PAR or R.I.)
Florida Instructor Certification for PAR or R.I.
Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification
Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check and background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be at least 18 years old or 21 or older for any driving position
Proficient English language communication, reading, and writing skills
Able to meet all physical demands, including occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and performing tasks such as bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods of time as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in training coordination, L&D, or security operations training
Knowledge of correctional procedures and security protocols
Strong organization and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and in team environments
