Summary Statement
Join the Division of Social Services as a Training & Education Specialist IV! You will play a key role in advancing workforce learning and organizational excellence. As a member of the Learning Innovation Team, you will support all aspects of training and education operations, specifically in concepts related to public assistance programs managed by DSS. Your duties include developing, implementing, and evaluating impactful learning programs, courses, and services.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with employees, agencies, community partners, and stakeholders while researching innovative training solutions and recommending continuous improvements. As DSS staff are located at various sites throughout Delaware, you will be required to travel throughout New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties to deliver consistent support. The State''s fleet services will be available for use.

All new hires are required to report to the Statewide New Employee Orientation (SNEO) on their first day of employment. Sessions are held at designated locations in Kent or New Castle County.

Selection Process
