Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Diagnose and evaluate mechanical issues
  • Inspect parts for damage or excessive wear
  • Travel locally to worksites to repair or replace heavy-duty equipment
  • Disassemble and reassemble heavy machinery using hoists and tools
  • Test equipment post-repair to ensure optimal performance
Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2-5 years of experience with heavy-duty equipment repair (Preferred)
  • Completion of a vocational or post-secondary training program (Preferred)
  • Experience with trailer bodies and/or welding and fabrication (Preferred)
  • Having your own hand tools is a plus (larger tools will be provided by the company)
  • Ability to operate heavy-duty equipment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain a Medical DOT Card (company paid)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift/carry the following:
  • 100lbs (Infrequently)
  • 25-99lbs (Occasionally)
  • 1-24lbs (Frequently)
