Detroit Aggregate is looking for a Trailer Tech to perform maintenance on our fleet of Class 8 trucks and construction equipment. (Gravel Trains)

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
• Repair trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Responsible for repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis.
• Repairing tears on the sides of containers
• Replacing lights
• Tire repair
• Landing gear repair
• Frame repair

Job Requirements:

• Location: 1402 14th Street, Detroit, MI 48216
• 1 year of experience
• Basic set of tools
• Experience working on hydraulics, concrete mixer trucks, gravel train equipment and diesel trucks
• Experience working on trailers
